Southeast Region Slide Shows

We have been working with Keynote on our laptops to produce slide shows of the Southeast Region.  To see our hard work, click here.


Our first unit in Social Studies will be general Map Skills.  We will learn about and review the following concepts:

• Map Key and Symbols
• Compass Rose
• Latitude and Longitude
• Continents
• Oceans

From there, we'll go on to learn all about Wisconsin history and geography.  The final portion of the year will find us learning about the five regions of the United States.  The students will be learning all of the states and their capitals.

In Science we will start off with our unit on Animals.  Then we'll get into Sources of Energy, with an emphasis on electricity and magnets.  We'll round out the year with a study of the Human Body Systems.
